Balotelli was set up by Raheem Sterling but the Italian
international had his curling effort saved by Jakupovic.
Brendan Rodgers' side continued to dominate the first half but
failed to create any clear cut chances.
The Reds continued to assert their dominance on the vistors in
the second period yet again they failed to test Jakupovic.
They continued to pile the pressure on the visitors and almost
took the lead in the 72nd minute though Dejan Lovren.
Mario Balotelli has reached
that point earlier than most.
As the Italian trudged off having missed the injury-time chance
to end this stalemate, the judgement on his performance was
more compassionate than critical.
