Liverpool 1 - Chelsea 2:DIEGO COSTA fired Chelsea to victory as they came frombehind against Liverpool at Anfield.

The Spain striker struck beyond Simon Mignolet in the 67th
minute to extend the Blues lead at the top of the Premier
League.
Emre Can scored the opener, with a shot which deflected off
Gary Cahill and left Thibuat Courtois wrong-footed after just
nine minutes.
The Reds' lead was cancelled out by Cahill five minutes later.
Goal-line technology was used with Mignolet unable to stay the
right side of the line from the defender's shot from inside the
six-yard box as Liverpool failed to defend another set piece.
Chelsea then pushed and pushed and pushed but were unable to
break the hosts' resistance until the final 25 minutes.
Costa shot through a sea of bodes after Cesar Azpilicueta
delivered a ball form the left which Mignolet could only palm
out to the striker.
Liverpool were denied a late penalty as Steven Gerrard's shot
cannoned off Cahill with the skipper remonstrating with the
referee Anthony Taylor.
Jose Mourinho's side go seven points clear of Southampton - for
the time being - and 15 clear of Liverpool, all the way back in
seventh.
