Bayern Munich join the race for Marco Reus.

Liverpool and Manchester United look set to
face strong competition for the signing of Marco
Reus from German champions Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga giants are said to be keen on
the Borussia Dortmund man, who attracted
attention from several Premier League clubs
over the summer.
Reus is believed to have a £19.7m release
clause in his contract and Bayern chief
executive Karl-Heinz Rumenigge admits the 25-
year-old may be of interest.
'We know in Munich that he has a high quality.
And we know the clause,' he said.
'It is possible that a young German player of
such quality is interesting for us.
'But I don't want to rock the boat in Dortmund.'
Both Man United and Liverpool were linked
with Reus during the summer transfer window
and yesterday Dortmund announced they have
ended talks with the midfielder over a contract
extension, as they look to get their league
season back on track.
