Manchester City 0 - Newcastle 2:MANCHESTER CITY suffered a fright night at the EtihadStadium as Alan Pardew’s second-string outfit produced a shock win

Halloween came early for Manuel Pellegrini's flops as the Capital
One Cup holders crashed out following a horror show.
Teenage terror Rolando Aarons put the Magpies on the road to a
famous win with a sixth minute opener.
Substitute Moussa Sissoko then climbed off the bench to add a
second after the break to pile on the pain for the Premier
League champions.
The result was made all the more stunning by the fact Pardew
made a host of changes before kick off and named a weakened
side.
People expected the decision to backfire in his face but it proved
a masterstroke as Pardew saw the pressure on him lift even
more.
Two weeks ago Pardew was facing a full-blown crisis but
somehow his men have secured back-to-back league wins and
now dumped Pellegrini's giants out of the Cup.
But while Pardew's star continues to rise, opposite number
Pellegrini is facing a mini-crisis of his own.
